Hamza Latif
Hamza Latif is a dual qualified lawyer, having practiced as a barrister in London before being admitted to the Bar in Malawi. Hamza Latif is a senior associate in the firm and heads the firms Lilongwe practice.
Hamza Latif specilaises in advising international clients on entry into Malawi including on company law, exchange control provisions, and the regulatory framework for entering and operating in Malawi, as well as all aspects of a startup or a merger and acquisition, including the due diligence process.
Hamza Latif also specializes in advising international clients on company law, regulatory advisory, data protection and privacy, and offers in depth advice to international clientele navigating the local terrain and Malawian legal landscape.
Hamza Latif regularly advises international and local companies operating in the renewable energy sector, mainly solar, as well as wind and hyrdo, mining, exploration and natural resources, cannabis regulation, telecommunications, and real estate.
